Our ideal Operations Executive will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships. He/she needs to be a team player who clearly paves the way for our team by delivering value and providing a holistic approach in client servicing. He/she is required to maintain direct client relationships within his/her assigned accounts, and ensure our high service levels are met and exceeded.

Responsibilities include:

New Business and Renewals

  • Preparation and review of proposals and claims
  • Review of renewal terms
  • Preparation and review for re-marketing
  • Preparation and review of submission materials to our partners
  • Engage in pre- and/or post-renewal discussions internally and externally
  • Participate in negotiations with our distribution partners
  • Assist in the design of solutions for our clients
  • Assist in the development of sales strategies

 Daily Operations

  • Build and maintain relationships with our distribution partners
  • Follow up of underwriting requirements with clients
  • Assist in external presentations on our solutions
  • Follow up on partner / client issues including invoicing
  • Handling internal inquiries

Other Responsibilities

  • Other ad-hoc projects as assigned

Key Requirements

  • A hunger to learn about the financial services industry
  • A hands-on multi-tasker with initiative
  • Responsible and detail-oriented
  • Good analytical, communication and time management skills
  • Educational qualifications of at least GCE ‘A’ Levels or its equivalent. Previous experience in a related industry or similar role would be a plus

As a Business Development Manager, you will be the face of our business and be entrusted with building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing deals. You will be expected to maintain an extensive knowledge of the current market conditions, and be attuned to the competitive landscape.

Responsibilities include:

New Business and Renewals

  • Meet, and ideally exceed, team sales objectives and growth targets across all portfolios
  • Strategize and develop new business channels
  • Plan and initiate activities to foster good relationships with partners and clients
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Operations team in developing new business streams
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure operational targets are met
  • Review and update training material for products and solutions

Existing Business

  • Proactively manage and build long-term business relationships, and provide excellent after-sales service
  • Advise management on anticipated issues around existing clients, and propose possible solutions to address these issues
  • Work with team leads to ensure sales targets are met
  • Prepare and analyze reports of new and in-force businesses
  • Provide input into annual budget exercises

Key Requirements

  • Educational qualifications of at least a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Certifications/licenses should include HI, M5, M9 and M9A
  • A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in the financial services (or a related) industry
  • Proven business development and sales track record
  • Previous team management experience
  • Experience in the Employee Benefits space
